What’s 3″ tall, glows in the dark, and is goovy all over? It’s the new and improved DotBot of course! Having learned a thing or two about robot articulation and design, I decided to scrap everything and start from scratch to bring him more in line with the original concept…
The differences should be pretty clear; he’s cuter, cooler, slightly smaller, has a cool new hoverboard, and a brand new pair of shoes. What more could a tiny robot ask for? Perhaps his own ipod, a little texture… maybe a cool logo on his shirt. Well not to worry… its all to come.
He is kind of my own little frankenstein, and I must admit, I am unusually obsessed with bringing him to life and exploring even the most subtle aspects of his personality. One thing is for sure though… he will be able to get his grove on like no other, and all the little tiny girl robots will swoon at the very site of his tiny little robot hat .
Look for more to come from this little guy as I continue to obsess neurotically over every detail.
